Starting with the 2008 Manitoba Open the MDAI has begun hosting a bull shoot at various events called "Darts for Hearts". Proceeds from this event go to the St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation. Each player, for a donation of $2.00, throws twelve darts at the bull on a dart board. A record is kept of the total bulls hit. At the end of the event or round the player with the most bulls scored claims half of the collected money with the other half going to the charity. This is a great way to help out a charity in a small way and to test your throwing ability against other players. Thanks to everyone who has participated and to Alex Austria for coming up with the idea and overseeing the bull shoots. On this page we will show the past winners and their records.
