Memberships will be available at Youth Provincials.
Manitoba Darts is looking for youth under the age of 18 to represent Team
Manitoba. Youth are invited to come to the Provincial Youth Darts Championship
to try out for the team to represent Manitoba at the Canadian Youth National
Darts Championship in Quebec.
The Youth Team Manitoba is made up of:
2 junior girls and 2 junior boys – 15 years of age or under
2 senior girls and 2 Senior boys – 18 years of age of under (15-18)
On October 1of the current season (2022/23 as at October 1, 2022)
All categories of competition are 501 straight in and double out; with mixed
doubles, male/female doubles and male/female singles in each age category.
Team Manitoba will attend the Canadian Youth National Darts Championship in
Saint Hyacinth, Quebec from May 17 to 22, 2023. May 17 and 22 are travel days
with the competitions taking place May 18 to 21.
Players are responsible for their own costs to attend Provincials and Nationals.
The individual cost to attend Nationals, including transportation, is estimated to be $1600 per youth depending on cost of airfare.
The $25 entry fee paid at Provincials will be applied to the costs of attending Nationals.
